Homeowner Orientation

If you want to own your own home and cannot afford a conventional mortgage, you may qualify for our program. To learn about becoming a Habitat for Humanity homeowner, you MUST ATTEND one of our Homeowner Orientations.

Homeowner orientations are typically held the 4th Tuesday of each month, starting in February, at 6:00 pm. Orientations are at the Northern Fox Valley office located at 56 South Grove Avenue in Elgin. Parking is available in lots on both north and south end of the building.

Applications are taken and evaluated in the order received. You will receive information on our program, income guidelines, and the forms you will be required to submit at the Homeowner Orientation.

To prepare for a Homeowner Orientation, you can print the Self Assessment Questionnaire at home and return it to the office by any of the following methods:
